Meet
the Chinese Crested
The Chinese Crested Dogs were once favorite pets of
the Mandarins. They were also used on Chinese trade ships to hunt
vermin. It is possible that Chinese sailors originally obtained
these dogs from Africa or Mexico.
Some other names for the breed are Chien Chinois ?
Cr?te, Chinesischer Schopfhund, Perro crestado chino, Perro Crestado
de China, Hiina Harjaskoera, and Kiinanharjakoira. The Chinese
Crested comes in two varieties: Hairless (nu, nackt, sin vello) and
Powder Puff with veil coat (duvete, flaumig, velloso).
